Let me begin by stating that this site isn’t about food quality or preference whatsoever. I created it to be utilized as an aide for those that enjoy dining out and prefer to do so in an accessible establishment. I hope you find the following reviews helpful in choosing your next dining destination. Too often, finding the right restaurant to go to when you’re disabled can be a challenge. You have to go through the trouble of picking a restaurant, locating handicapped parking, fighting through double doors, waiting in a cramped area for an available table, narrow aisles, not enough tables to sit at, and the restroom accessibility is often unknown. I would eventually like to get more input and comments so that it’s not just my own opinion of accessibility. For now though, I will rank some of the larger franchise’s that everyone is familiar with. The ones I am reviewing are located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. These larger chains tend to have the same type of interior layout, making the ranking applicable to most facilities, except for the parking lot, which is laid out according to the area the restaurant is located. Another factor that varies by location is how old the building is, since certain building accessibility may have not been required when the building was built.
Parking – Are there enough Handicap parking spots, and are the ramps conveniently located and easily accesable?
Entryways/Waiting – Is the entryway large enough without anything obstructing the doorways? Is there enough waiting room where you don’t have to block peoples path with room to park a wheelchair out of the way?
Seating and Aisles - To many booths and not enough tables? Narrow aisles that don’t leave enough room for you to get to your table with ease and enjoy a meal comfortably?
Bathrooms – Sufficient room to maneuver into and out of them, not requiring assistance from family or friends? Is the handicap stall easy to get in and not a tight squeeze for a wheelchair?
Overall - Would you recommend this restaurant to other disabled people.

Ratings
The Ratings are basic letter grades like A, B, and C. The A’s are reserved for the restaurant’s that offer great accessibility. B’s are for restaurants that are somewhat accessible but there is room for improvement. C’s mean that although the restaurant is accessible there are a lot of improvements that can be made. The F’s simply aren’t accessible and should make major adjustments. The ratings from me are broken up into Parking, Entrance and Waiting, Seating and Aisles, and Bathrooms. All ratings and reviews were based off of a Quickie 2 manual chair. With time I hope to add Power Chairs, Scooters, and Crutches among other equipment to reviews.
